Get Started: Player Agent
For most players, GolfInvestors does not advise players to use an agent. Agents should only be used when the benefit out weighs the cost of using an agent. For the majority of professional golfers, the benefit does not out weigh the cost of an agent. Usually the benefit does not outweigh the cost of an agent until a player becomes a mega-star (i.e. Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, etc.).
Investors who invest in golfers do not like to have their money spent on agents when the golfer can easily handle many of the activities which an agent performs. So we recommend players seek out specialists and hire them on a per hour basis. This would include a lawyer for contract activities, a tax specialist for tax activities, and an investment adviser for investment and financial decisions. Travel and scheduling can be done on a computer now, as can banking activities, including paying bills. Paying bills and overall accounting is handled via GolfInvestors' direct accounting system.
Golfers should have the knowledge of how to use a computer, email, and the Internet.
If you are an agent of a golfer and want to use GolfInvestors to manage your client's schedule, funds, and sponsorship agreements, even though we do not promote GolfInvestors to be used this way, you can do so for any number of your clients. Your clients would have to setup a "Player" type account on GolfInvestors and associate you with their account so you can have access to their account accordingly.
