Completed Move; Starting PhD Program
I have finally completed the move to Kentucky from Colorado. Not all of the boxes are unpacked, but the essentials are out of their boxes in the new house. So that means I can continue with my life as normal. Except now, it is time to start my doctorate program, which is why we moved to Kentucky in the first place.
My first day in the program will be this Friday, August 1st. It should be difficult, but rewarding. I am looking forward to it.

Tournament Results and News Updates Delayed
For the past week and a half I have been moving across country in a moving truck as my family and I are moving from Colorado to Kentucky. As such, the tournament results and news updates on GolfInvestors have been delayed. Rather than having the tournament results updated after each round finishes (i.e. on the same day a round is played), I have been updating the results at the end of each tournament.
Once I get settled in Kentucky, I will be able to get the results and updates back on schedule either through my activities or help from others.
Thanks for everyone's support of GolfInvestors and being patient.

More customization for player tournament analysis
On GolfInvestors there is a tournament analysis for each player that is in a tournament's field. That page is called the 'player tournament analysis' page. Here is an example of the player tournament analysis for Jim Furyk in the 2008 RBC Canadian Open.
Jim Furyk: RBC Canadian Open: Player Tournament Analysis
The player tournament analysis page has been in existence on the GolfInvestors for several years. However, what I changed on it this past week is the ability to customize how many past instances of the tournament to look at, how many days to look back prior to the tournament, and how many tournaments to look back prior to the tournament.
The default is:
- 10 tournaments in the past
- 30 days prior to the tournament
- 4 tournaments prior to the tournament
However, now that can be changed by any user if they want to look at different configurations of the player tournament analysis page.

Changes to Field
Most tournaments on GolfInvestors have their field entered initially on the Friday before the week of the tournament. After that changes to the field are documented in the discussion forum associated with the tournament. This helps users track which players have been removed from and added to the tournament before the tournament starts.
For example, the PODS Championship's discussions forum has the following entries that area associated with the changes to the field.
Changes to Field, 2008-03-06 John Mueller Mar 6, 2008 18:00 Changes to Field, 2008-03-04 John Mueller Mar 4, 2008 13:39 Changes to Field, 2008-03-03 John Mueller Mar 3, 2008 16:11
In the details of each discussion posting, you will see things like the following which help know which players have been removed from or added to the field of the tournament at that time. For example, here is the details of the "Changes to Field, 2008-03-04" entry:
Author: John Mueller Date: Mar 4, 2008 13:39 The following changes were made to the field on Tuesday, 2008-03-04. Removed: Tim Clark [TICLK] Fredrik Jacobson [FRJAN] Brandt Jobe [BRJOE] Added: Marco Dawson [ MADAN ] Derek Lamely [ DELAY ] Jin Park [ JIPAK ] Ted Purdy [ TEPUY ] Jim Renner [ JIRER ] Kevin Streelman [ KESTN2 ] Marc Turnesa [ MATUA ]

Where do I look to find my outstanding orders?
To find your outstanding orders on GolfInvestors, you would go to the My Account - Orders page. The My Account - Orders page shows all of your unexecuted orders. You can see the filter on the page to search for any unexecuted order you have in the GolfInvestors system.
Whereas, if you are looking for your orders that have been executed, you would use the My Account - History page.
Recieve emails about offering results from the previous week
One of the features of GolfInvestors is that you can opt to receive a weekly email that shows the results of the offerings that were done the previous week.
